In Celebration of a Birthday

My dear friend Chanin is celebrating a birthday this week -- and it's a biggy. To commemorate, I made her a special gift. (I think special gifts soften the blow -- don't you?) Chanin reminds me of gardens, maybe because we spend so much talking about them. She brings me Sweet Peas every Spring, and once she gave me Lillies of the Valley, a flower I adore. I have no idea where she found them, but that gift meant so much. Chanin always knows what will bring a smile to my face. I'm lucky to have her as a friend.

What a beautiful necklace!

My mother in law LOVES lily of the valley, this year for mother's day, we ordered it online so that she will have her very own to grow, came in a beautiful vase/pot holder! I can't wait until she opens it!

LOVE the necklace!

I have Lily of the Valley blooming in my front yard right now. If we were neighbors, I'd bundle some up and hand deliver them. They are my very favorite flower. :)
