Inspired by Pinterest Linky Party - No. 2 {and giveaway}

While lurking on Pinterest, I have noticed that tons of people are using it for recipes.   I hadn't even considered that.  So inspired by others, I made a Foodie Board, which has come in handy in my search for the ultimate whoopie pies.  Still looking for them by the way.

But during the hunt for whoppie pies, I saw this saw this . . . .

which inspired me to make this . . .

It's not plum jam, it's jalapeno jelly.  And since red California peppers can be found in stores right now, I was inspired to make a  batch, along with a tutorial, so that you could make some too.  Just in case you want to get a head start on your Christmas gifts.

You can download the tutorial here.

Thank you Pinterest.  And thank you to all who linked up last week.  It was awesome to see what people are doing -- tulle table skirts, custom t-shirts, starts, bunting, wreaths, pumpkins, hair styles, gum ball machines -- wow!

Now it's your turn.  What have you been busy creating?

{P.S.  There's a giveaway going on over at my giveaway site.  You should enter.}

My mom used to make jalapeno jelly. I just am not sure about Pinterest but if they have recipes I might try it.

I've made lemon and orange marmalade so far this year. Oh, and applesauce. All for gifts. Now I will make your jelly too - it sounds delicious and looks pretty. Until this week, I had never heard of using old book pages for crafts. Check out my blog tomorrow morning - I am featuring a great book page garland from a blog I love.

I am LOVING your link up party! Creating some of the things I see on Pinterest makes me feel a tiny bit less guilty about the amount of time I spend on it!!
